Four things we hear about SEO

Four sentences we hear almost every week

With SEO it is rarely that somebody wants more traffic. It is that there is no traffic, or the traffic never reaches an inquiry.

01

Nobody finds us on Google

The site exists but is not in the search results. We depend on referrals, and no new clients arrive.

02

We had SEO and nothing changed

We paid monthly, received keyword reports, and had no more inquiries than before.

03

We do not know which keywords to target

Somebody handed us a list of a hundred keywords. Nobody said which of them a buyer types and which only a curious reader does.

04

Competitors rank above us despite being worse

Their site looks worse than ours and sits higher in the results. We do not understand why.

If one of those sounds familiar, we deal with it on the intro call: fifteen minutes, no obligation.

Price

What SEO costs SEO

"How much does SEO cost" is a question whose honest answer depends on two things: the state the site is in, and how strong the competition is for your keywords.

Our SEO work starts with a review that shows whether it is worth doing at all. If the site is technically sound and has content, the fixes cost less. If the site was never prepared for search engines, the first month costs more than the ones that follow, because that is when most of the work happens.

On-page SEO, meaning the titles, the structure, the internal links and the copy, is work done once that stays done. SEO strategy and publishing regularly are monthly work, because the competition does not stand still.

WordPress SEO is the most common case for us, because most of the sites we see run on it. WordPress optimization has its familiar traps, above all plugins that slow the site down more than they help it. Those we review right at the start.

The initial review is part of the first call and we do not charge for it. If we judge that SEO will not pay off in your field and that ads would be faster, we say so then, not after three months.

The exact figure for your case arrives within a day of the call, itemized and with no hidden costs.

How we chase real search intent

SEO aimed at real search intent, not at flattering numbers

SEO is not a one-off checklist. As an SEO agency we combine analysis, technical improvements, keyword research, on-page SEO, content, internal linking and local SEO. The optimization, the consulting and the execution follow the priorities, and progress is tracked in Google Search Console and in the analytics.

The basics

What SEO SEO

SEO is the work that makes a site legible to a search engine and useful to a person looking for something. Both at once, because one without the other does not work.

It splits into three parts. The technical part makes sure the search engine can read and understand the site at all: speed, structure, titles, structured data. The content part answers the question the person asked. The external part is reputation, meaning who points at you.

The most common mistake is targeting high-volume keywords no buyer types. A keyword with 900 searches from people still learning about the subject brings no orders. A keyword with fifty searches from people with a problem can.

So we look at the intent first and the volume second. That is exactly why there are high-traffic keywords we deliberately do not target.

Why we do not promise first place

First place is not something we promise

A ranking is decided not by the vendor but by the search engine, which does not publish its exact algorithm or how it weights the signals, and changes both regularly. Anyone promising you a position is selling something they do not have.

The technical and on-page work can be a one-off project. Content, monitoring and growth on competitive keywords are work that accumulates, and the first reliable results are a matter of months. Anyone promising a visible change in four weeks is counting on you having paid by then.

There are high-traffic keywords we deliberately do not target, because no buyer types them. We also say when SEO is not worth it for you and starting with ads is the smarter move.

From the audit to steady visibility

Four steps from the audit to steady visibility

  1. 1

    Audit and keywords

We look at the technical state of the site and choose keywords by intent rather than by the size of the number.

  2. 2

    Technical fixes

Speed, structure, titles, structured data, and the errors that stop the search engine understanding the site.

  3. 3

    Content

Pages that answer the question the person asked. One page per intent, not one page for everything.

  4. 4

    Measurement and what follows

We track to the inquiry rather than to the visit. Whatever brought nothing gets dropped, and we tell you.

You receive an itemized proposal the same day as the intro call, or the next at the latest.

Why Aithena

Five reasons, and none of them is a promise of first place

SEO is the service with the most promises and the least accountability. Here is our part of it.

01

We do not promise first place. Nobody can.

Google decides the order itself and keeps changing it. Anyone promising you first place for a given keyword is promising something they do not control. We commit to the work and to the measurement, not to a position.

02

First we check whether the keyword is searched at all.

Preparing our own site, we reviewed 291 keywords for the Slovenian market in 2026 and only 79 of them have genuine search volume. If your keyword is not searched, we tell you rather than letting you pay to optimize for empty space.

03

We do SEO and GEO together, not separately.

People increasingly ask ChatGPT or Perplexity instead of Google. The same page has to be legible to both, so alongside classic optimization we add quotable definitions, structured data and an llms.txt file.

04

We work on a site we can actually change.

Optimization without access to the site is consulting, not work. If we are not the ones maintaining it, we agree on access or carry out the changes together with your vendor. We do not write recommendations on paper that nobody implements.

05

The report also says what did not work.

Alongside the growth, the monthly report contains what we failed to move, and why. It is the only way that six months on, anyone knows which moves paid off.

On the intro call we look at which keywords could actually bring you a client, and say how long that realistically takes.

Where others gave up quickly and said it could not be done, Aithena looked deeper, kept at it and found a solution.

What you receive

After the work you know which searches you are actually competing for.

We do not promise first place. We promise an audit, a plan and content aimed at searches with business sense behind them.

01

Immediately

An audit and a list of searches

You get a review of the technical faults and a list of the search terms that can genuinely bring you inquiries.

02

During the work

Fixes and content, in priority order

We clear the technical obstacles and publish content for the searches that sit close to a buying decision.

03

At handover

Traffic that does not vanish with the ads

What remains is a site Google understands, and a monthly report on how traffic and inquiries are moving.

Fit

Let us also say when it is not worth it

We would rather tell you openly when a service is not right for you than have you spend money on something that will not work.

Good fit

Worth doing if

  • you have a site you want to build on for longer than a few months
  • your customers look for the solution on Google
  • you are ready for content, not just technical fixes

Wrong timing

Wait if

  • you need results this month, in which case Google Ads is faster
  • you sell purely through referrals and do not need traffic
  • the site is about to be rebuilt, so you would pay for the work twice

Questions

Short and clear answers

Answers to the questions we hear most often before an engagement starts.

SEO is the systematic improvement of a site’s content, structure, speed and authority, so search engines understand it more easily and show it to the right people.

The price depends on the size of the site, the competition, the technical state and how much content is needed. After the initial analysis we propose the priorities and the scope. Indicative prices for every service are published on the price list.

Yes. We handle local landing content, consistent business information, the technical signals and recommendations for the Google Business Profile.

Technical fixes show within a few weeks; movement on search terms usually takes three to six months. Anyone promising a result in one month is promising something Google does not allow for.

No, and nobody can. Google decides the order itself and keeps changing it. We commit to the work, to the deadlines and to the measurement, not to a position.

GEO is optimization for generative engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI overview. We do it together with SEO, because it is the same site. It is an addition, not a replacement.

It covers the technical side, the content and the measurement. Technically we sort out the speed, the structure and the errors that make the site hard for Google to read. In the content we target searches close to a buying decision, not only the ones with the most volume. The measurement shows which page brings inquiries, so we know where to put the next effort.

Book a call

Tell us where you are and we will set up a call

The intro call takes about fifteen minutes. We look at your situation and say what is worth doing first.

You receive an itemized proposal the same or by the next business day at the latest after the call, not a week later with different numbers. If we judge that the service is not worth it for you, we say so before the proposal.

  • We reply every day, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central European Time (3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern)
  • No lock-in and no subscription to talk
  • If we cannot help you, we tell you right away
