Online stores designed to sell

We design the store around the buying journey: from categories and product pages through to a fast checkout, reliable payments and sales measurement. A store costs 1,350 to 4,000 EUR excluding VAT, and you see a demo within 48 hours.

Case · a store that sells

Tartuf.com: two languages, one catalog, Facebook at 61.7 percent of sales

  1. Starting point

A store selling fresh truffles: 85 products across 12 categories, Slovenian and English from the same catalog.

  2. What we did

WooCommerce with two language versions of every product that stay in sync on any price or stock change, a short path to purchase, then ads at ten euros a day.

  3. Result

After the ad went live, 131 percent more revenue per day. In July 2026 the average order was 78.47 EUR and Facebook accounted for 61.7 percent of the store’s total sales.

What a store owner tells us

Four sentences we hear almost every week

Hardly anyone orders a store because they want one. They order it because the one they have eats hours, or cannot carry the sales.

01

We retype the orders by hand

Somebody moves every order from the store into the accounting software. We pay for those hours, and the mistakes come free.

02

Buyers drop out at checkout

They reach the cart and then we lose them. We cannot tell whether it is the shipping, the price or the forced registration.

03

We cannot add a language

We want to sell across the border but the store was never built for it. Every new market means starting over.

04

The stock figure is wrong

We sell something that is gone. The store and the warehouse do not talk, so it keeps happening.

If one of those sounds familiar, we deal with it on the intro call: fifteen minutes, no obligation.

Price

What an online store actually costs

"How much does an online store cost" is searched more often than the service itself, and almost nobody publishes the answer. Here is ours: 1,350 to 4,000 EUR excluding VAT. Where you land in that range is decided by a handful of things listed below, and the itemized proposal reaches you within a day.

The bottom of that range overlaps the top of our ordinary website range, and that is not a mistake. A simple store with thirty products and one payment method is less work than a website with calculators and three languages. Complexity decides, not the label on the project.

A store is not a product with a list price. The same look can be three days of work or three weeks, depending on how many products have to be entered, how many payment and shipping methods have to be connected, and whether the store has to talk to the accounting software.

So we do not do the usual thing in this industry, which is to send you package A, B and C and then discover after signing that your case fits none of them. On the intro call we go through those few factors, and you receive an itemized proposal the same or the next day. It says what is included and what is not.

Once the store is live, there is also maintenance at 50 euros a month and content automation at 250 euros a month. Both are optional and can be added at any point later.

The exact figure for your case arrives within a day of the call, itemized and with no hidden costs.

How we build a store

An online store that is simple for the buyer and for your team

Building a store covers the sales structure, the user experience, the technical build and the analytics. A WooCommerce store makes sense when it fits the catalog and the integrations. When a store already exists and needs fixes rather than a rebuild, that is store optimization.

The basics

What building an online store actually depends on

Building an online store is building a website plus everything that happens after the buy button. That second part is what decides whether the store still works in two years.

The workload is driven mostly by the catalog, the payment and shipping methods, and the integrations with other software. A store with 50 products and one shipping option is a different project from the 548-product catalog in three languages we currently run.

For shipping we connect DPD, Posta Slovenije and GLS; for payments, Stripe, ellypos and bank transfer. The store can be connected to accounting or warehouse software so orders never have to be retyped. That retyping is the most common hidden cost of a store, and nobody counts it before launch.

When a store already exists and needs fixes rather than a rebuild, the right place is store optimization.

What we say plainly

We will not build a store you will not be able to run

A store is not a one-off cost. Every product, every image and every description needs somebody to maintain it. With a catalog of five hundred products that is not a side task.

So before quoting we ask who will run the store and how much time they have. When there is no answer we propose a smaller start or automating part of the data entry, not a bigger store.

If we judge you would be better served by optimizing the store you have rather than building a new one, we say so before the proposal, even when that means less business for us.

From the catalog to the first order

Five steps from the catalog to the first order

  1. 1

    The intro call

We talk through the catalog, the payments, the shipping and the integrations. The itemized proposal comes out of that.

  2. 2

    Designing the buying journey

We settle the categories, the filters and the path from product to checkout. This step decides the sales more than the looks do.

  3. 3

    Build and integrations

We build the store, connect the payments and the shipping, and link it to the accounting or warehouse software.

  4. 4

    Test purchase

We make real test purchases through every payment and shipping method before the store goes live.

  5. 5

    Launch and measurement

We set up ecommerce tracking so you can see where buyers drop out, and teach you to run the catalog.

You receive an itemized proposal the same day as the intro call, or the next at the latest.

What is included

Everything that happens after the buy button

Building an online store is building a website plus everything that follows the purchase. That second part is what decides whether the store still works in two years.

The workload is driven mostly by the catalog, the payment and shipping methods, and the integrations with other software. A store with fifty products and one shipping option is a different project from the 548-product catalog in three languages we currently run.

Why Aithena

Six reasons, and most of them only become visible after launch

A store does not end with a good-looking catalog. It ends at shipping, payment and accounting.

01

You see a store demo in 48 hours.

Within two working days of the intro call you get a working preview with a home page and a product page, filled with a few of your own products. It shows what buying will feel like before you commit to the whole catalog.

02

The stores we run hold between 66 and 548 products.

Simak Keramika has 548 products across 31 categories and three languages. Maveron Fashion has more than 300, Tartuf.com 85 in two languages, Gigablock 66 categories in Arabic, English and Slovenian. All four are WooCommerce on WordPress and all four are running.

03

Shipping, payments and accounting are part of the job, not an add-on.

We connect DPD, Posta Slovenije and GLS, payments through Stripe, ellypos or bank transfer, and link the store to the accounting software. These are the points where stores most often get stuck a month after opening.

04

More languages and markets, when it makes sense.

Three of our four stores sell in more than one language. We also say when a second language will bring nothing because the market is not searching in it. Translating a catalog is a cost that does not repay itself automatically.

05

One party responsible, not three vendors.

When the abandoned cart stops sending, there is no question of whether the store, the email tool or the ads are at fault, because we run all three. It is the most common reason people call us after the first store they already had.

06

A proposal within a day.

You get the scope, the price and the deadline the same day as the call, or the next at the latest. The price depends on the number of products, languages, integrations and payment methods, so the proposal itemizes it instead of hiding it in one figure.

You see a demo with a home page and a product page within 48 hours of the intro call, and the itemized proposal the same or the next day.

What you receive

After the work you have a store that sells without you stepping in.

The goal is not a catalog on the web but a buying journey people finish, and orders that land where you need them.

01

Immediately

A preview of the home page and a product page

Within 48 hours you see what the store looks like with your own products, free and with no obligation.

02

During the work

Payments, shipping and stock in one place

You approve the settings for payments, carriers and the link to the software you use as we go.

03

At handover

The orders run themselves

The buyer completes the purchase, the order lands in your system, and we show you where the sales stall.

Fit

Let us also say when it is not worth it

We would rather tell you openly when a service is not right for you than have you spend money on something that will not work.

Good fit

Worth doing if

  • you already sell the products and want to move the selling online
  • you have stock or accounting that needs connecting
  • you sell in several languages or are planning foreign markets

Wrong timing

Wait if

  • you have no catalog yet and will not be preparing photos
  • you sell one product a few times a year, where a form is enough
  • you expect the store to sell without any advertising

Questions

Short and clear answers

Answers to the questions we hear most often before an engagement starts.

The price depends on the number of products, the payment and shipping methods, the links to accounting or stock, and how demanding the design is. We prepare the proposal after reviewing your sales process. Indicative prices for every service are published on the price list.

Book a call

Tell us where you are and we will set up a call

The intro call takes about fifteen minutes. We look at your situation and say what is worth doing first.

You receive an itemized proposal the same or by the next business day at the latest after the call, not a week later with different numbers. If we judge that the service is not worth it for you, we say so before the proposal.

  • We reply every day, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central European Time (3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern)
  • No lock-in and no subscription to talk
